The NASUWT’s magazine Teaching Today features a letter from Estelle Smillie from Taunton, recently returned from a holiday in the US. She writes that, on showing her NASUWT card, museums gave “significant discounts” and one, the sea life museum in Norfolk, Virginia, completely waived its pound;12 entry fee.
We confidently expect a TV advertising campaign featuring Alan Whicker, “The NASUWT card, accepted around the world - unlike some union cards I could mention.”
