Five weeks of sport, healthy eating and stair climbing have taken pounds off at Britain’s first children’s “fat camp” in Leeds. Paul Gately the camp’s organiser said, “The average weight loss was between five and 10 kilos. US research suggests that a year from now 80 per cent of the 11 to 17-year-old graduates will still weigh less.”
