In the week Team GB had their best ever start to an Olympic games, further education Twitter was caught up in the Tokyo hype.

Loughborough College celebrated their place on the medal table while training for FE’s own Olympics, WorldSkills, started again in Northern Ireland. 

Kendal College principal Kevin Nash had a well-deserved break at the seaside, and over in Exeter, students celebrated their graduation from a skills boot camp.
