Fears over use of pensions hike

School and college support staff face the prospect of paying higher pensions contributions, but their employers could controversially end up putting less into the pot. Documents seen by The TES suggest that the Treasury is considering using the proposed hike in monthly payments for non-teaching staff to "protect jobs and services" and effectively offset educational funding cuts.
