How many pen-pushers does it take to change a light bulb? Fewer, hopefully, than it takes to attend a Learning and Skills Development Agency conference.

Last year, the Learning and Skills Council sent no fewer than 86 delegates to the LSDA event. But last week, it was a mere 36 delegates, apparently. A mole tells me the Coventry headquarters of the LSC became rather sniffy about the number of staff spending the day away from their desks.
