A fine forest decade

Education experts from across Wales will gather in Cardiff later this year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of forest schools.

Since Forestry Commission Wales introduced the concept in 2000, thousands of pupils have benefited from the freedom of learning in a stimulating outdoor environment. The progress will be the subject of the FC Wales Woodlands for Learning team’s annual conference in Cardiff in October.
