ST JOHN’S Ambulance plans to teach 8,000 primary pupils first aid by next summer after a survey by insurers Norwich Union found that the vast majority have no idea how to help someone who has stopped breathing or started to choke while eating. Roadshows will begin next month in Hampshire, London, East Sussex and South Yorkshire as part of a drive to train half a million students over the next three years.
