Schools and suspicious parents are being offered sniffer dogs for hire at pound;50 a day to find out whether children are taking drugs.

Malcolm Howe, from MJH Associates in Boston, Lincolnshire, is guaranteeing that his labradors or springer spaniels will find any trace of an illegal substance.

He said: “We have to teach children that there is nowhere to hide when it comes to drugs.”
