Stranraer Academy has become a fashion victim after pupils turned their backs on uniform fleeces bought by the school. Now heidie Jimmy Higgins has been stuck with boxes of stock, leaving the school funds fleeced.
Local youngsters prefer the polo shirt, usually worn with no outer covering especially on days when force 10 gales blast in off Loch Ryan.
