USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY. By Sue Neale. Evans pound;10.99.

Based around 24 photocopiable worksheets, this 32-page A4 book aims to develop information technology skills alongside a design and technology capability. It is primarily aimed at key stage 2, but flexible enough to be used with other ages and special needs.

The worksheets are well thought out and cover many aspects of IT. They are complemented by a useful answer book with illustrated examples, concise teacher's notes, a checklist of IT skills, a sample pupil record sheet and a glossary.

As well as being user-friendly (to teachers and children), this publication can be dipped into and used in a variety of ways. It will certainly help staff develop links between IT and Damp;T.
