Floods leave pupils high and dry

A GROUP of GCSE and A-level students at a West Yorkshire school lost all their revision notes after their homes were flooded by heavy rainfall. Around 85 pupils at Calder high school, in Mytholmroyd, were affected by the floods and many of them had to spend Snday night sleeping in the town hall. Their headteacher, Ed Collins, has written to the exam board requesting special consideration for several of these pupils, who lost books, revision notes and clothes only days before having to sit their exams.
