Visitors to the Scottish Seabird Centre can now explore the journeys made by migratory birds to and from Scotland every year, thanks to a new migration flyaway zone. The area is part of a redevelopment that has also created a new environment zone, which contains exhibits relating to climate change and its effect on the planet. These areas supplement the centre’s existing attractions; giant screens showing five live interactive coastal cameras, including one based at Bass Rock, described by David Attenborough as one of the 12 wildlife wonders of the world. The centre has expanded its education team to offer experiences for children of all ages. Tel: 01620 890202; www.seabird.org
