Free resources produced by The Flour and Grain Education Programme to help pupils understand the complex relationship between the countryside, manufacturing processes and cereal and flour-based food will be available from September 17. They comprise cross-curricular packs, Flour Power (key stage 2) and Healthy Living (KS3), teacher’s notes and a website at www.flourandgrain.com which includes a competition for secondary pupils. The programme is funded by the Flour Advisory Bureau and the Home Grown Cereals Authority. Contact Rebecca Cowley, tel: 020 7493 2521.
