Children are being warned to check their barbecued chicken, burgers and sausages to ensure they are not pink in the middle. The advice is contained in new food safety resources published by the Food Safety Authority and the Food and Drink Federation. A survey shows most primary teachers want more time for cooking lessons and better cookery tools.
