To tie in with United Nations World Food Day on October 16 and schools’

harvest activities, Concern is running its annual FoodAid appeal. The aim is to exceed the pound;105,000 raised by schools last year. A free CD is available to help with the teaching of citizenship at key stages 1-4 and link with geography, religious education, English, ICT, maths, music, drama and environmental studies. It contains lesson plans about food availability, fair trade and nutrition and a specially written pop song.
