The Scottish Schools’ Football Association was forced to call off the national semi-finals of the Walkers Crisps Cup, due to be played at Ibrox Community Complex in Glasgow on February 27, because of bad weather. The semi-finals of the national primary schools tournament will now go ahead at the same venue on March 21. Four teams - two from each league - will go forward to the finals at Ibrox in May.

The draw is League A: St Peter’s S, Dumbarton; St Anne’s PS, Hamilton; Broomhill PS, Aberdeen; Fox Covert PS, Edinburgh; League B: Carlogie PS, Carnoustie; Bridge of Weir PS; Kincaidston PS, Ayr; Campie PS, Musselburgh.

Scotland’s Under-14 Schoolboys’ team will face the Republic of Ireland in a double-header in May. The Scots entertain the Irish in Linlithgow on May 10 at 1pm and the two sides meet again the following day (time and venue to be confirmed).
