Scotland’s under-18 schoolboys’ team face England at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock, tonight (7pm) in the Centenary Shield tournament, hoping to repeat last season’s win at Bradford.

Scotland opened their programme with a 2-0 win over Wales in Wrexham early this month. The game against Northern Ireland in Ballyclare, which was postponed on March 16 due to the foot and mouth crisis, has now been rescheduled for April 20.

The team to face England will be selected from: S Birrell, S Findlay (both Perth HS); G McLaren, C Reid (both Denny HS); A Barrowmn (Coltness HS); T Brighton (Marr Coll); L Geddes (Culloden Acad); S Graham (Falkirk HS); N Hastie (Dingwall Acad); R Lawson (Eastwood HS): D McColl (Larbert HS); J McPhail (Bannockburn HS); P Nugent (Our Lady amp; St Pat’s HS); D Proctor (St Bride’s HS); K Webster (Forfar Acad) and J Winning (Bo’ness Acad).

At under-14 level, two matches have been finalised against the Republic of Ireland on May 10 at Linlithgow (1pm) and May 11 at Johnstoneburgh (7pm).

The Under-14s will also compete in the Coleraine tournament on June 15-16.
