Scotland's Under-16 Schoolboys drew 1-1 with England in their Victory Shield match to share the trophy. Both countries had already beaten Wales and Northern Ireland.

England led at half-time; then Scotland captain Andrew Bagshaw (Aberdeen GS), a youth signing with Aberdeen FC, equalised in the second half. The game marked the centenary of the Scottish Schools' Football Association.
