Stornoway’s Nicolson Institute lost 6-0 to St Augustine’s High of Edinburgh in the final of the Bank of Scotland SSFA Scottish Senior Schoolgirls’ Shield at Victoria Park, Dingwall.
The Nicolson Institute had been scoring freely on its way to the final, netting nine goals at Irvine Royal Academy in the quarter-finals and beating Stewarton Academy 8-2 in the semi-finals at Millburn Academy, Inverness.
