Footie treat for German youth

Some German pupils are to be allowed to stay home during the World Cup this June to watch the football. The mayor of the western city of Kaiserslautern, Arne Oeckinghaus, has said pupils can miss school on four match days to protect them from street violence. He added that they also needed school buses to transport fans.
