Teachers can gain free tickets for advanced screenings of An Education being held across the UK this Sunday, October 25. Based on journalist Lynn Barber’s memoir, it tells the story of a teenage girl’s coming-of-age in 1960s Britain, as she is torn between studying for a place at Oxford and a romance with an older man. With a screenplay by Nick Hornby (About a Boy), it features Emma Thompson as a headmistress. The screenings will be held at Cineworld cinemas in: Glasgow, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Crawley, Sheffield and Wandsworth. For more details, and to claim your ticket, visit www.seefilmfirst.com and enter voucher code 501244. The tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and you’ll be able to print out your ticket right away.

The TES Film Academy will have more free film screenings and events later in the term. An Education goes on general release on Friday, October 30.
