The Primary Language Teacher of the Year Award has been given to Janet Mair of Neroche Primary School in Ilminster, Somerset. Mrs Mair, the school’s languages and literacy co-ordinator, has been involved in training teachers and developing resources in her local authority area. She wins a trip to France for 30 pupils and five teachers, and #163;2,000 of Scholastic and La Jolie Ronde books and resources.
