Mrs Jill Scriven has been involved with Bridley Moor high school in Redditch, Worcestershire, for 30 years and is much loved and appreciated by everyone She is senior technician in the technology department but also a school governor and a special needs governor rep, as well as an active member of the PTA. A petition arrived at Friday magazine signed by 60 staff from the maintenance man to the heads of year, from the kitchen staff to the head Val Duffy-Cross, nominating he for the bouquet. “We just wanted to say how widely appreciated she is,” says Val Duffy-Cross. “She is a friend to everyone, unassuming but always there and an example to us all in her devotion to the school.”
