Friends of the Earth's BiteBack information pack

Every mouthful of junk food can be interpreted as a political act. Friends of the Earth has produced BiteBack, a pack to help teenagers make informed choices about their lunchtime burger and teatime chocolate bar. There are messages of support from sports and TV stars, but the main focus of the eight-page booklet is on GM and antibiotic ingredients, the inequties of trade in foodstuffs with poor countries, the role of pesticides and high-protein cattle feed. There are also suggestions for public campaigns and healthy snacks.
