In an interesting article in your edition last week, my colleague Douglas Weir said that “since August 2004, students have expressed their anger at the teacher education institutions (apparently) not providing them with placements”.

Could I make it clear that in this particular teacher education institution, since August 2004 to date, all students have been successfully placed on each and every placement. It is intended to keep it that way.
