A Gaelic learning event for families with children who are being taught in Gaelic will take place at Sabhal Mor Ostaig on Skye during the week beginning 4 July, 2011.

The event is being organised by the community learning and development review group for Gaelic (CLADRG).

The week will give parents a chance to attend one of the college’s language courses, while children take part in a wide range of sports, arts and other activities delivered in Gaelic.

The project is funded by CLADRG and Bord na Gaidhlig and supported by Sabhal Mor Ostaig and Highland Council. The annual event is in its eighth year; last year, more than 30 families from across the Highlands, islands and the central belt took part.

Interested families should contact the project co-ordinator by 25 March. E: flw.clad@yahoo.co.uk

T: 07972 735413.
