Galashiels primary awarded best-ever accolade by HMI

A Galashiels primary has been awarded the best-ever accolade by HMI, which rated all 22 categories inspected at St Peter’s as “very good”. None was found to be just good or fair or unsatisfactory. ven the quality of every lesson was very good or good.

Barbara Adams, head of the 250-pupil school, is described as “highly committed and gifted”. Staff work “tirelessly and well”.
