A school board in a midwest town has decided not to order the removal of a poster promoting tolerance for homosexuals, despite parents’ objections. The black-and-white poster shows pictures of historical figures including Cole Porter, Walt Whitman and Michelangelo, and reads: “Sexual orientation has nothing to do with the ability to make a mark, let alone make history.”
