Senior pupils at Eastwood High in East Renfrewshire were treated before the Easter break to the views of reverend gentlemen on faith. Kit-Kats were much in evidence on the tea tray passed round after the event.
It was just a pity that Monsignor Peter Smith was off choccy biccies for Lent while the Rev Angus Kerr similarly turned down a cup of coffee. Both thanked heidie Stewart Maxwell for making Lent even more meaningful for them.
And they say ecumenicalism is rare?
