More than 90 per cent of teachers feel they need more training in how to use interactive whiteboards, according to new research from Lighthouse Professional Development.
The research revealed that although 60 per cent of teachers surveyed had used a whiteboard, only 11 per cent felt they had enough knowledge to use the technology.
Commenting on the research, director of Lighthouse Carl Brookes, said:
“With 89 per cent of teachers envisaging that they’ll be using whiteboards in the near future, this is a call to action for teachers and schools alike to ensure they have the proper training”.
