To address the issue of encouraging more students to opt for science, the Royal Society of Arts Examination Board has organised a conference entitled “The GNVQ: first choice for science” to be held on January 29 at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Speakers include: Andrew Hunt, Nuffield Curriculum Project Centre; Valerie Bragg, principal, City Technology College, Birmingham; and business representatives from Bass and Rover.
