ACADEMICS have threatened to throw university admissions into chaos after a ballot of members of the Association of University Teachers backed industrial action in pursuit of a 10 per cent pay increase. A go-slow by admissions tutors could leave tens of thousands of youngsters in limbo after their A-level results come out.
