(Photograph) - Apprentice joiner Lee Fawcett of Darlington college has won a gold medal at the international skills ‘olympics’ in St Gallen, Switzerland. Lee, 21, of Middleham, North Yorkshire, came through national heats in the ‘Skillbuild’ contest for construction trainees to represent Britain in joinery and is the country’s first such winner.
