Lollipop Learning has released its Lolli-Port software, which enables schools to build their own websites and helps children learn the skills involved in website creation and email, plus giving them the opportunity to enjoy the internet in a safe environment. The software’s easy-to-use set-up wizard means schools will be able to design and publish a website simply, while sticking to the dictates of the curriculum. The package comes with a pre-built school shop, 200 pre-selected sites for educational resources and entertainment, plus links to curriculum games. There is also capability for up to 1,000 users to access a web-based email system, allowing everyone in the school to have an email account that is checked and filtered. Lolli-Port is available for as little as pound;350 + VAT, annually www.lollipoplearning.com
