(Photograph) - Lisa Wainaina with her winning Google Doodle entitled "the Day of the Child", which was seen by around 17 million people when it became the company's distinctive masthead on its UK website for 24 hours. The Doodle for Google competition was open to London school children aged 4 to 18 years-old and involved redesigning Google's logo to celebrate different cultural and historical dates, events or people. The awards marked the opening of the company's new UK headquarters. (See GoogleEarth review, p49)
