The Great A-level Debate

“My preference would be to scrap ASA2 exams and have a two-year linear A level. This would involve five terms teaching instead of four and would be far more productive in terms of genuine outcomes, by removing the constant pressure to teach towards short-term goals and allowing teachers to use their expertise to develop each student at his or her own pace towards longer-term success.”
