Greater London Authority role explained in leaflet

While Ken Livingstone gets on with being London's Mayor, the Greater London Authority has a lower public profile. The latest four-page booklet from Citizen21, Power to the People, explains the role of the GLA through discussions based on "sweeping statements" and a quiz. Citizen21 has published nine booklets altogether, covering parliamentary andelectoral reform, decentralisation and devolved assemblies, freedom of information and a Bill of Rights. The full set costs pound;5 from Charter88, 16-24 Underwood St, London N1 7JQ, or titles can be downloaded free from the website Education co-ordinators Debbie Chay and Clare Ramsaran can be reached on 020 7684 3878.
