You’ve heard of the Government’s National Grid for Learning and probably your regional learning grid, but do you know just how many of them there are and the kinds of resources you find on them? It’s worth keying in “grid for learning” on a search engine and sifting through the results. Google turns up plenty on its first page alone - Scotland, Northern, Birmingham, London, SouthWest, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Yorkshire and Humberside. The quality is variable and some require registration, but even a short trawl should prove highly profitable.
