Subtitled “The Impolite Science of the Human Body”. Burps, belches, gurgles and other bodily functions are the subject of this popular exhibition at the Life Science Centre, Newcastle, which shows how the body works to keep us healthy. Visitors encounter giant characters such as Nigel-Nose-It-All, a giant dripping tap who explains the importance of nasal features including hairs, snot and sinuses. Other activities include sniffing poo, pee and perspiration and watching the Insides Out Show. Tel: 0191 243 8210; www.lifesciencecentre.org.uk
