IMPROVING school grounds improves pupils’ behaviour, a study by Learning Through Landscapes has found. Two-thirds of schools that had landscaped their grounds reported a drop in bullying and vandalism and three-quarters noted improvements in behaviour. Learning through Landscapes is working with the Government to help schools make better use of their grounds through art, technology and architecture projects.
