The General Teaching Council for England’s (GTC) perceptions audit concludes that it fails to engage with teachers and has not won our hearts and minds. To discover this fact, which its director of communications promptly pooh-poohs, it engages with 15 of its key partners - but, as usual, not with its conscript teacher army. The farce grinds on.
