Lib Dem education spokeswoman Jenny Randerson has questioned why her Healthy Food Measure is taking so long to implement in schools. The measure, which was given Royal assent last December and is the first by an Assembly backbencher, puts a duty on local authorities to promote healthy eating and ensure nutritional school meals. First minister Carwyn Jones said the government “intends” to use it.
