Two internationally renowned ‘gurus’ visited Scotland last week - and challenged the way we teach
Scotland should take part in an international education programme which helps children who are victims of conflict, the conference heard from Nigel Osborne.
Professor Osborne, former dean of the music faculty at Edinburgh University, has pioneered creative arts therapies for traumatised youngsters in the Balkans.
It would be a great opportunity for Scotland for a very small amount of money, Professor Osborne said, and it would benefit Scotland as well as the countries and the children involved.
