Our “oldest old boy” Bill Kentish, 85, recently joined us to celebrate our school’s 125th anniversary with a Victorian Day. Bill, pictured here with early years pupils Kate Simmons and Suvan Basandrai, shared the whole school’s enjoyment of a range of history, art, crafts and citizenship activities. Teachers dressed in 19th-century style delivered strict lessons with a special Victorian flavour, such as needlecraft, and boys did “drill” - PE - in the grounds.
