KS2 How did the Egyptians and Ancient Greeks try to fight disease, or discuss the Old Testament stories of the plagues visited on Egypt?

KS3 An imaginative way to bridge large periods of time might be to compare and contrast different outbreaks of disease and their impacts. For example, the Black Death of 1349-50 could be seen as a turning point in history. By contrast, the cholera outbreaks of the 19th century were significant but were they turning points?

KS4-5 Consider the issue of historical significance. The flu of 1918 was on the same scale as the Black Death of 1349-50 but is probably less well known by the general public. Why is this?
