Teachers can attend free workshops to inspire ideas for Holocaust commemoration and education this autumn.

What is it?

Organised by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, the workshops will take place in September and October. Teachers will be given guidance and inspiration to help them plan activities for the next Holocaust Memorial Day (27 January 2013), the theme of which is Communities Together: Build a Bridge.

At the workshops teachers will hear stories and take part in activities focusing on the importance of community cohesion, as well as getting top tips from organisers who have run events in the past.

Workshops last two-and-a-half hours. Reserve your place at: hmd.org.ukaboutour-workhmd-workshops.
