Ever questioned the mysterious disappearance of Flannan’s lightkeepers in December, 1900?

If so, the National Archives of Scotland (NAS) is offering five additional dates for upper primary classes to take part in free workshops to investigate the mystery.

Using evidence preserved in the NAS, pupils can draw their own conclusions about what actually happened.

The event is part of the celebrations marking the bicentenary of the Bell Rock Lighthouse.

The NAS is also holding a Flannan Isles activity day on Wednesday, February 16, for families to discover what life was like in Scottish lighthouses in the past.
