Hopes for new Jewish school

Plans for the first “inclusive” Jewish state secondary in the country have been drawn up.

It is hoped the school, for children from all branches of Judaism, will open in Brent, north London, in 2009. The Jewish community secondary school, for more than 1,200 pupils aged 11 to 18, is backed by Brent council and a bid for funds has been submitted to Whitehall.
