Human rights festival

The Human Rights Watch International Film Festival (March 16-22) has its own education programme with free screenings and free resources for teachers of PHSE, history, media studies, sociology and related disciplines. The films -they include both drama and documentary - will be shown in London and are likely to most interest students over 15, though younger teenagers might also be engaged. Subjects include child labour in Bangladesh, being young and black in the US, reporting the Iraq war and living with Asperger Syndrome.
