Some parents consider the terms “children” and “hygiene” mutually exclusive, but teachers, of course, know that’s unfair. The Institut Pasteur and Proctor and Gamble are making sure children get the right messages with their new website, www.hygiene-educ.com. They worked with teachers to design the site to help primary teachers explain the importance of hygiene for health. It’s a bright, multimedia site with sections on hygiene and health for the body, food, home and pets. There is also a look at the history of public health. The English site is at: www.hygieneeduc.comenhome.htm
